Your information is treated with care.

This policy explains how Highway collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information.

Last updated 21 September 2026

1. Who we are

Highway Internet Services Pty Ltd (ABN 14 088 130 269) provides telecommunications and technology services. Privacy enquiries can be sent to admin@hwy.com.au.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the services you use, we may collect your name, contact details, service and installation address, account and billing details, identity information required for regulated transactions, support history, service usage and technical information, and communications with us.

If you do not provide information we reasonably need, we may be unable to supply or support a service.

3. How we collect it

We usually collect information directly from you by telephone, email, an order or support request, or during our ongoing relationship. We may also receive information from an authorised representative, a wholesale network provider, a payment provider, a domain registry or another supplier involved in delivering your service.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information to assess and connect services, manage your account, issue and collect invoices, provide support, investigate faults and complaints, protect customers and networks, meet legal obligations, and tell you about relevant changes to your services.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook tracking pixels or similar marketing analytics on this website.

5. When we disclose it

We may disclose information to organisations that help us provide or administer your services, such as nbn and wholesale network providers, eWAY and financial institutions, email and hosting suppliers, domain registries, equipment suppliers, professional advisers and regulators. We disclose only what is reasonably required for that purpose or what the law permits or requires.

6. Payment information

Card payments are processed through eWAY. Highway does not need to display your complete card details to process an authorised recurring payment. Payment providers handle information under their own security and privacy obligations.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide services, resolve issues and meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations, then securely delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

8. Access and correction

You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or have inaccurate information corrected. Contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first. If we cannot meet a request, we will explain why where the law requires.

9. Privacy complaints

Send privacy concerns to admin@hwy.com.au or call 02 6372 3645. We will investigate and respond. If you remain dissatisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this website with its update date.
